Manager and founder

Kristine holds a master degree in economics and gained her NVQ 3 certificate in education, childcare, development and learning in 2008. Before she established the Kindergarten Forest Hill in February 2013 she served as Director for the German Kindergarten in Herne Hill for 5 years. She very much enjoys working with children, parents and a wonderful team. She brings her joy and experience working with children to the Kindergarten.

Sandra
Early Years Teacher

Sandra is a qualified social worker and Early Years Teacher (NVQ6) and specialised in the field of children with psychological and behavioural problems. Sandra is our SenCo and Safeguarding Leader. She focused on early childhood education because at this age the pedagogical influence has the biggest impact and helps a lot with the prevention of problems later on in life. She enjoys teaching and encouraging children in their everyday development; sharing her own positive outlook and passion for all the little beautiful things in life.

Damaris
Nursery school teacher

Damaris graduated as Erzieherin (Kindergarten Teacher) in Nagold, Germany, in August 2007. She has served as a kindergarten group leader in Örtagården in Stockholm. Damaris is a very experienced and creative kindergarten teacher and brings loving care and encouragement to the children. She very much enjoys introducing children to the world of books, music, singing and dancing. In our curriculum Damaris covers the areas of maths, communication, language and literacy and is looking after our bilingual concept.

Fabian
Early Years Educator

Fabian is coming from Vienna, Austria, where he was working in an English/German bilingual setting for pre-school children for seven years before he joined the Kindergarten Forest Hill. He is a trained Forest School and Montessori teacher and loves to work with children especially in the outdoors and on their physical development. In our setting he is charge for the areas of learning 'The World', 'Physical Development' and all outdoor activities.

Sarah
Early Years Educator

Sarah is a very dedicated Early Years Educator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Education & Protestant Theology). During her professional career she worked in different settings with children ages one to seven years. She specialised in the pedagogical approach of performance for young children and ran her own drama club for pre-school children. She brings her enthusiasm and broad skills to our setting where she is responsible for our Expressive Arts and Design activities
